Geography Professor Yehua Dennis Wei has been made a Fellow of the American Association of Geographers. AAG Fellows are recognized based on their contributions to advancing the field of geography. AAG cited Dr. Wei as “internationally renowned urban/economic geographer whose research centers on effects of globalization and institutional change on cities, regions, and sustainability” and as a “pioneer in the study of regional development and regional/spatial inequality in China”. Dr. Wei is the first AAG Fellow elected from the University of Utah. Congratulations, Dennis!
