Medina and Hepner write inaugral commentary for NGA Pathfinder magazine

This recent commentary for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) discusses the need for geographical understanding through formal training for effective implementation of geospatial intelligence. Other topics included are the properties of human geography, policy failures, and suggestions for the future. The NGA is responsible for providing government agencies and offices with intelligence derived from geospatial information (i.e., remotely sensed imagery and other geospatial data).
