Grad Student, Claire Weber, Gets 3rd Place Award in Best Poster Competition!

 

Geography Grad Student, Claire Weber, received an award for 3rd place in the Best Poster Competition at the GEOINT (Geospatial Intelligence) Conference at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida which was held May 15-18, 2016.  The conference was hosted and produced by the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF), a non-profit, non-lobbying educational organization.  The annual GEOINT Symposium is the nation's largest gathering of industry, academia, and government to include Defense, Intelligence and Homeland Security Communities as well as commercial, Federal/Civil, State and Local geospatial intelligence stakeholders.  The event annually attracts more than 4,000 attendees from all over the world, features more than 260 exhibiting organizations, offers 60 hours of training sessions with accredited CEUs, and more!  Claire is a Master's student with research interests in terrorism, security, and smuggling routes.  Help us congratulate her on her award!
